Use the selected service's download option
When offline viewing is offered, download inside that viewing app. Check the device limit, expiry and account requirements shown there. The same production may have different offline rules on another service.
Test before leaving
Confirm the download completed and open it while you can still correct any problem. Check the audio language and subtitles as well as the picture. A completed file with the wrong track may not be useful on your journey.
Plan a flexible selection
Choose a shorter film or a few episodes alongside your main choice. If time, company or connectivity changes, you will already know which alternative to use.
